Carapuse Bay Consulting is operated by Long Stretch LLC. These terms apply to this website and to the way we take on work. The terms of any engagement itself are set out in a written engagement agreement, which takes precedence over this page.
What we are, and are not
Carapuse Bay provides non-clinical health advocacy, advisory, coordination, and consulting. We do not provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions, and nothing on this website or in our work constitutes medical advice. Using this website, applying for a consultation, or working with us does not create a clinician-patient relationship. Your medical decisions remain with your own licensed treating providers. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
We coordinate access to care and to providers; we do not deliver care, and the providers we coordinate remain responsible for the care they give. On health coverage we advise and, where needed, refer you to licensed brokers; we do not broker or sell insurance.
Applications and engagements
Submitting an application does not create an engagement, and we may decline any application. Engagements begin with a paid, non-refundable scoping consultation, credited in full against a full engagement, and substantive work starts only after a signed engagement agreement and identity verification, as described on our How we work page. We do not give advice or review records before then.
By applying you confirm that you are not an adverse, or potentially adverse, party in any legal matter involving the practice or its principals, and that the information you give is accurate.
Confidentiality
We treat applications and engagements as confidential, as described in our Privacy notice and in the engagement agreement.
